Here, I've created a charming space using vintage pieces that are meaningful to me. The centerpiece is a large olive jar, which has the perfect size and texture to make a statement. I love to add seasonal greenery to the jar for a touch of softness and contrast against the brick fireplace.
The gray churn is a wonderful stand-alone piece but I have used it here as a contrast that complements the olive jar and brick. A small, unusual curry comb adds a unique touch to the hearth, next to the bellows, along with my grandmother’s boots. Finally, the little trunk that once belonged to my grandfather is perfect for storing extra blankets and throws, while also adding a touch of history and warmth to the space.
